5:55 P.M. – Student Parade
6:05 P.M. – Cheerleading Performance
6:10 P.M. – Dr. Deisley will address the crowd.
6:15 P.M. – First Pitches by Mrs. Dunham, Ms. Williams, and Mr. Kuhn
6:25 P.M. – RL students will hold the American Flag for the National Anthem.
(Parents of children who will be participating, please reinforce appropriate behavior for the activities,
especially during the National Anthem. Your support will be appreciated.)
The track meet for grades 4, 5, & 6 will be held tomorrow, May 30 at LJM. Please consider the weather as you make plans for your child(ren) to participate.
A reminder that students should arrive between 6:45 & 6:55 am for departure to Washington, D.C on Wednesday, 5/29. The bus transportation will not be able to wait for anyone who is not at the school by the 7:00 am departure time. It will be a great day for all!
The grades 4, 5, 6 track meet has been postponed to Thursday, May 23rd due to weather.
A reminder that Friday, May 24 is an early dismissal. Students will be dismissed beginning at 12:35. As always, lunch will be served prior to dismissal.
The grades 4-6 track meet has been postponed and rescheduled for the rain date of Monday, May 20.

The annual LJM track meet will be held for students in grades 4, 5, & 6 on Thursday, May 9. Please be sure that students are prepared to participate. The rain date for the event will be held May 20. Information will be posted to the school website, in addition to being delivered via blog & Twitter posts, should the meet be postposed due to inclement weather.
Tomorrow, students representing the 5th & 6th grades from LJM will be competing in the 2013 York County Envirothon. The Envirothon is an interactive, hands-on competition designed to test a student’s knowledge of these Pennsylvania natural resources: aquatics, current issues, forestry, soils, & wildlife. Students have been preparing for the competition for several months. Good luck to our teams!
A reminder to students who are participating in the instrumental practice on Friday, May 3rd. Please be sure to bring your instrument.
